CHAPTER 06

“If I let her go, I will be short staffed. Samual said.

“We need to get Emma out of here is it not worth losing one servant to have Emma gone and the attacks stop.” I could see him thinking about it. When he Spock, I had to control myself,

“You can always buy her from me” he said, smiling.

“How much and to where” I said I need to get going. I sent him 5000.00 to a bank account.

“Enjoy” he said and sat back down at his desk and pick up some papers. Dismissing me. I walk out of his office it had been over an hour I linked my beta” is the car ready.”

“Yes Alpha, Andrew and I are down waiting out front the pack house for you and the girls.”

I closed the link and asked a guard where Emma's room was. I ran up the stairs knocked on the door and told the girls to go now but act casual. We got in the car and when we were out of Alpha Samual territory, I finally breathed a sigh of relief.

EMMA’S POV

Finally there was a knock on the door it was Alpha Dwayne come on girl the car is waiting out front.  We followed Alpha Dwayne with out bags over our shoulders. I thought for sure someone was going to stop us. Alpha put us in the car and before we could get our belts on, we were heading out of Alpha Samual’s pack land. I heard Alpha Dwayne give a sigh of relief when we were off pack land. He turned to us and said, “get comfortable girls we have a 200-mile drive to my pack.” We were going further away from where I was born, I did not know what our future held for Tammy and I but it had to be better then where we were coming from at lease I hoped.

I woke startled, not realizing where I was. It took me a minute to shake the fog from my head.

“You're finally awake”, Andrew said. Smiling at me.

“Sorry”, I said “I have not been sleeping well.”

“That's ok,” Tammy and I have been getting to know each other,” Andrew said.  I gave Tammy a smile.

“Andrew, your dad said you recognized me. I don't remember meeting you.” Andrew gave me a big smile.” we never talked, but I was with my parents when they held the Alpha Ball two years ago. I was too shy to actually talk to you then. Your dad also kept you very close to him”.

I remember the event” I told him,” but not really the people dad would not let me speak with anyone. I had to stand with him the entire time I was there. I remember your dad talking with my dad for a long time.

“Yah,” Andrew said on the way home dad said your dad was on edge the whole night. That's when he started investigating his and the pack. Dads source never told him you were sent from the pack. How long were you with Alpha Samual.”

“Almost a year." I said.

Alpha Dwayne turned around “seriously Emma you were there that long”. I nodded.

“Mark, you need to find out why we were never informed she was gone from the pack.”

Alpha Dwayne and Beta Mark had switched at some point Alpha Dwayne was now driving. Alpha Dwayne told us we would be on his pack lands in about 5 minutes. I’m going to keep you girls in the pack house where I can keep you protected. Neither of you will be servants again. He then addressed Tammy. Saying that they needed to sit down and have a long talk about Alpha Samual.

Tammy nodded and said, "You're not going to like it."

We got to the pack house and got out of the car. It felt good to stretch my legs. Luna Lizzie was waiting for us. Alpha Dwayne kissed his wife, then called Tammy, and I over both of us kept our heads down.

Luna Lizzie, I said nice to meet you.

Luna Lizzie hugged me and said “Emma dear, it is good to see you. I know you probably don't remember me, and you must be Tammy.”

She gave us each a huge” you girl come with me; I have rooms ready for you.”

I looked at Alpha Dwayne, who nodded. We followed her to the second floor. Luna Lizzie said to us,” I put you in separate rooms, but you have a door that goes to each room.”

“Thank you” I said” but um don’t servants stay on a different floor?”

She looked at me shocked “you are not servants; we don’t have them here everyone in the pack pitches in where they can. Everyone is equal here. I’m going to prepare for a ceremony that will make you both official pack members. You are both families now.”

“Now I know Alpha wants to talk to Tammy as soon as you get settled. Emma you and I will go to my office, and I will have tea brought up. Our offices are at the end of the hall you come as soon as your settled in”.

Tammy and I nodded. Luna Lizzie left us in our room with the door between open.” Emma my room is beautiful “

“Mine to,” I said back.

“Thank you, Emma, for having me come with you”.

“I was not leaving you there” I told her,” no way in hell.”

“We better go see Alpha Dwayne and Luna Lizzie.” I said.

We walked down the hall to their offices both smiling. As we got to the door Alpha Dwayne said, "Come in girls.”

We went in and bowed our heads, our hands folded in front of us.

“Relax girl,” Luna Lizzie said” you are not there anymore.”

“Tammy” Alpha Dwayne said, “are you comfortable talking with my Beta Mark and I without Emma?”

Tammy looked at me, then nodded.

“Good.” Alpha said.

Luna Lizzie took my hand” come with me Emma we will have some tea and talk”

I went to her office with her, and we sat on a beautiful sky-blue couch. She called down for tea then asked me how I was feeling.

DWYANE’S POV

These girls were nervous as hell what had he done to them. I had a feeling Tammy had a lot to tell me about Alpha Samual that I did not know she was terrified.

“Alpha Dwayne I have something to tell you, before we start I hope Emma does not get mad at me”.

“What is it” I looked at her very concerned.

“Today is Emma’s 17 birthday.” Tammy said quietly.

“Thank you for telling me” I told her.

“Mark, can you get Rose to put a little something together for Emma.”

“I will get right on it. I will return shortly” Beta Mark said.

“Please sit-down tammy would you like coffee, tea, soda, water? I asked.

“Coffee would be wonderful Alpha Dwayne” tammy said quietly.

“How long were you there Tammy?”

“Over two years.”

“How did you end up there I asked her.”
