REGALEON'S POV

I roamed around the woods of Agatha in my wolf form trying to pick an information about the lost luna.

What I noticed was that there's no much people on the streets. Well, it's expected since their Luna went missing.

While walking, I noticed a group of people sitting around the bonfire. I secretly hid somewhere and observed the group.

The atmosphere was eerie and unwelcoming as everyone seems to be busy with his or her own thoughts. The Luna is gone, I guess everyone has a reason to think.

Lycan Xavier, one of the senior wolves stood up to address the crowd after the too much precarious silence seems to be too much.

"Since our leader is gone, anyone can voice out their opinions now and let's decide" He said. At first there's no response, everyone looked at each other.

Lycan Xavier continued, "Our Luna is gone!!! Has no one have anything to opine about it?"

"What did you expect us to say Lycan Xavier?" a beta suddenly stood up to defend. "She's the servant of the goddess so whatever that happens to her has nothing to do with anyone here I think?"

There's murmurs amongst the people but someone from the crowd interjected, "are we still going to get thesame amount of protection we got from the goddess when she's not here?"

"Quiet! Is she the one protecting us? I saw her when she fled, is that how a leader ought to do?" Another woman from the members asked which sparked controversies amongst the crowd.

I can't help the disdain that thumped in my chest. These people are the most vile and untrustworthy people ever I must say.

Lycan Xavier tried to maintain the order before continuing, "We all know that she didn't do anything substantial. But have you all forgotten the moon that shone when she was born? If most of you are still young, I'll call on Gamma Tony to explain further" He explained and sat down.

An elderly looking wolf with a burnt tail stood up to address the crowd. Everyone calls Gamma Tony the ancient of days because he was the oldest amongst the wolves and knows alot of histories too.

"On the night she was born, a red moon appeared in the sky which symbolized that she is born to lead us all.We all are subjected to protect her because she was the leader of our pack!"

"What are you talking about old man? Did you think everyone are loyal because we supported her? Why must we protect her?" A young Alpha shouted everyone amidst the crowd seconded the motion.

Gamma Tony continued, "Her blood is very special and if we performed some rituals, it could be used for immortality! So we can't let go!"

There's a brief silence before a cheer amongst everyone. What a group of pathetic people. I wished their dedicated Luna could be here to see what antics her so call pack members are performing.

"So even you elders of the pack are supporting her because of her special abilities? Then we must save her from Regaleon if she's that useful" Someone opined.

"No!!! Nothing can ever be done to her because without her consent, none of her abilities could work. Attempting to save is suicide she will come back to us willingly. It was said that there's someone that was fated to protect her from all harms. Whenever she's in danger, he'll always appear. I believe that chosen person would have known by now" The beta that talked earlier explained.

Everyone agreed to this once again.

"Will she still be our Luna if she comes back?" Someone asked.

Lycan Xavier replied this time, "She's born to be our leader, she will always be but everyone, remember that Luna Aria will come back herself"

There's murmurs amongst them then for a while before every gave thier words.

"She is not worthy of leading us. Why holding unto her? Only because of her special abilities" someone said and the others laughed.

The wolves of Agatha Pack rejoiced the absence of their Luna instead of being remorseful.

Because of her special abilities, they all betrayed her and waiting for one goddess sent protector to bring her back. I shook my head in pity.

Thier betrayal meeting is getting on my nerves so I turned around to leave when a little boy interrupted the jubilation with his kite that fell on Lycan Xavier, "Don't you all think saving her will earn us her trust?"

"Who gives kids like you an opportunity to talk in pack meetings? Did you want an earful? No one will go to save her and it stays that way! We shouldn't show her how eager we were. Her useless parents are at fault for making her think she's above everyone" Gamma Tony retorted.

"But...." The little boy wants to talk but the glare from Gamma Tony's eyes made the cub retreated.

'What a group of dogs! They're a disgrace to werewolves!' Clapton my wolf commented.

I have prepared to back to the tent and Inform the Almighty Luna what her pack members are planning when I felt my tail (he's still in his wolf form) held back by someone.

Turning around, I saw Dante, the little guy who interrupted the pack meeting.

“Alpha Leon is that you?” he asked in disbelief and also excited tone as he quickly hop on my back.

I wondered how he know that I was around but I'm also happy to see him.

“Why are you so excited today and what happened?” he asked telepatically which the boy could hear and he replied aloud.

"It's so great riding in your back after a long time. When your men came to raid here, I was scared I'll be killed but all thanks to our dear Luna, she took away our sins” the little boy gave me the news that's no longer strange to me and I smiled.

"How did you know I'm around?"

Dante there his hands into the air enjoying the ride, "Aren't we close enough to know your scent? Anyway, were you the one that kidnapped the Luna?"

I feigned ignorance immediately , that k goddess I'm in my wolf form or else he'll have noticed it that i was lying.

I'm nor so shameless and heartless to tell Dante that I took the Luna , all Dante know was that I came to raid the pack because he I a rouge.

"Has anyone made any moves to look for the runaway Luna?"

Dante laughed, “What did you expect? Who'll try looking for the Luna who ran away in our trouble time? They are saying you're the one who took her and someone from the goddess will come to save her" Dante said.

I laughed. Only if they know who the protector is.

"Thank you Dante, I'll try to see you before I leave the pack, ..Here take this, This should be enough to last you for a month until I come back" I said catching a rat with his paws and gave it to the kid.

"Thanks Leon, don't worry when you come next, I'll give you another set of fresh news and trust me, no one will ever know you're around they don't know your wolf form anyway" He said aloud excitedly and ran off.

"Don’t share it with anyone" I growled after him but the kid was far gone.

I looked at him, I can't help the sad smile that escaped my lips, Dante is a good kid no doubt but circumtances has made him become something he’s not. A thief, A rogue and a dirty hustler despite having a pack.

That's what circumstances made the little boy into. Just... Just like me when I was his age.

I quickly got a grip on myself because I have to infiltrate the den and get the Luna's dresses.

As I walked through the marketplace, I can't help but feel light-headed.... To hear that the pack members arent even shaken by the news of her disappearance seems to be a good news to me even to Alaric.

That dumb Luna, she thinks everyone likes her. Well, she's with me now, I can get rid of that silly bond that always drags me.

While walking through the market, I heard the news, "Lycan Xavier has made a decree that anyone who can bring the head of the rouge named Alpha Regaleon would be extremely rewarded" A market woman said.

Someone asked the Market woman, "What's the reward for catching Alpha Regaleon?"

"A drop of the Luna's blood that could be enough to raise 5 dead people" The woman replied.

I can't help but wag my tails in amusement, what a funny pack. So they could even task bounty hunters to look for me?

Slowly and soon enough, I infiltrated into the den and grabbed all the Luna's clothes, Well less formal clothes and left right immediately but not after dropping a note on the throne.
