Chapter 14

Clara didn't see Lucas in school. She kept wondering where he could be. She looked for him in all the classes, basketball court, the dining room, sports complex. She went to the rooftop because she knows that Lucas loves being up there. He once said that whenever he is feeling down and terrible, he goes there to relieve his brain and mind. She couldn't find Lucas, as she sat on the floor thinking of what step to take to make Lucas stop loving Sophie. The three of them have been friends right from childhood, but seeing Lucas choose Sophie over herakes her Sophie. "That little pretty witch", she said as she made her down stairs.

Hey Clara! Shouted Lucy; one of the classmates. "I heard Lucas has transferred to another school". Another school? asked Clara looking confused. "Yeah". Lucy replied. "I heard he's now schooling at Sophie's new school". On hearing that, Clara's face changed, she was huffing and puffing. She left for house angrily. She got home and went straight to her room. Shouting, crying and breaking everything she could see. A piece of broken vase cut her in the left, she groaned so loudly.

The following day at school, Ashley went to meet Sophie. "Sophie hi!" Hi Ashley, Good morning". "Sophie, who is Lucas to you?". Sophie seemed surprise, why did you ask?. I'm asking because I like you. I really like. From the first time I saw you, I fell in love with you. You're so pretty, and I want to take care of you". Sophie kept looking at him jaw drops, she couldn't utter a statement. She's still trying to run away from Lucas, and here; Ashley is processing his love. While they were talking, Lucas saw them and came to meet them. "Hi Sophie!", He said ignoring Ashley, as he took Sophie's hands and walked away. Ashley got infuriated. He went ran up to them and hold Sophie's hand. "I was talking to her before you came out of nowhere. Show me some respect, how dare walk her out on me".

Ashley and Lucas were both dragging poor Sophie by hands. This got her angry, as she shouted at them both. "Please guys, leave me alone, just let me be". Sophie said as she angrily left them.

Lucas followed Sophie into the class, he kept telling her to wait but Sophie wouldn't listen. "Sophie, please don't do this to me. Do you want to choose him over me?" Lucas asked. I only need time to be alone. I am not ready for all these.
