Chapter 5
Sean took the dishes to the sink and washed them. She watched as her husband did the chores and he was sexy. How could she be so lucky to have such a man like that?
"If you keep on staring at me like that, I am afraid that you will have to skip classes this coming week," he said as he turned around.
She choked on herself and drank some water. How did he even notice that she was staring at him?
"I will go and do my assignment now," she said as she stood up.
She was going to go as far away from him as possible before she does something she will regret. He caught up to her and embraced her in a hug.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" he asked as he locked eyes with her.
She shook her head, she was done with everything so what was he talking about?
"I don't know," she answered him.
"Let me remind you then," he said and lowered his mouth to hers. She smiled and closed her eyes as his lips touched hers. He kissed her for a while before he broke the kiss and looked at her.
"Go and finish your assignment and after that I will take you out," he said and she looked at him with joy.
"I will be done soon," she said breaking away from him.
She rushed up the stairs to go and start her assignment. She couldn't wait to go out with him. He was always so busy that they had little time to each other. She didn't know why he returned earlier but she was just glad that he did.
Sean was brought into his current family by his mother who was marrying the chairman, his step father. Life was difficult for him back then because he wasn't a blood relative of the family.
But because he loved his mother so much he bore with whatever they brought his way. He wanted his mother to be happy and that happiness was something his step father brought into her life.
His father was a total psychopath; he abused his mother so much that the day he died he didn't cry but celebrated. Seeing his mother being free from all that pain brought relief to him.
Despite the hate he received from his step siblings his step father never gave up on him. He was one of the executives in the company and gave his all to the company.
"I am done," Selena said and he looked up and saw her. She looked lovely in that summer dress.
"Okay, let me finish up and we will leave," he said as he closed his files.
"I will be in the lounge," she said and left.
She was the only one who was capable of bringing a smile on his face even when he didn't show it. He stood up and followed her to the lounge. He took her hand in his and led her outside where his car was parked.
"Are we taking this one?" she asked as they stood next to the blue Bugatti Chiron.
"Yes, we are. I want to make your heart race like crazy," he said and unlocked the car.
He helped her first before he settled himself in his seat. He switched the ignition on and drove out of the compound. The look on her face as he drove at normal speed was exciting. What if he were to speed what would be her reaction? He was going to leave that for another time.
"Where are we going?" she asked him after they had travelled for a while.
"Let's go shopping," he answered her.
"But I have enough clothes already," she protested and he smiled.
"I know but we should buy more. You need to spend the money, it's all yours. If you are that worried, we can donate some of the clothes you are not wearing to the orphanage," he suggested.
"If you say so then let's do that then," she agreed quickly.
He could see that she no longer was worried. She was a caring person and that made his heart flutter.
He parked his car and holds his wife's hand and led her into the shopping mall. He wasn't here on business but on a personal matter. He was in charge of the shopping mall, so many people knew him. They greeted him wherever they went that he saw his wife shying away.
"You need to be courageous enough. I don't want to see you slouching like that. Be proud and be confident, you are my wife and don't let anyone step on you," he told her.
"I will keep that in mind," she said looking up to him.
He knew what people said behind her back and he just wished he could deal with them. He brought her here to show the world that he wasn't ashamed to be with his wife. She might be young but she was the person he chose to be with him. He pulled her close to him and she blinked at him.
She knew what was coming but didn't protest. He loved how she submitted to him, how she made him have all the control. This made him want to see that she was happy and well taken care of.
He lowered his mouth to hers, not caring about the people who were looking at them. He was making mark on his woman, he was showing everyone that she was his and he was hers. She hooked her arms around his neck and he devoured her.
If it wasn't for his cell phone ringing, he would have forgotten that there were in public. He reluctantly broke the kiss and she slowly opened her eyes, her cheeks were all red from blushing. He planted another kiss on her forehead before answering his call.
"Just set it for tomorrow, I can't meet anyone today. I have a date with my beautiful wife," Sean informed Brian who laughed on the other side.
"I will do that. Enjoy your date sir," Brian said and hung up.
"Let's go now," he said and holds her hand once more.
