Chapter 2
Amelia turned her back to them, tears rolling down her cheeks as she walked out of the house. She didn't know where she was going but she just wanted to get out of this circle of lies and betrayal.
As she passed by the gatekeeper, he had a guilty look on his face, but she couldn't blame him. She got into her car, starting the engine as she zoomed off.
The day was slowly coming to an end, Amelia sat on the trunk of her car, taking large gulps of the beer in her hand. A light crimson color had spread from her neck up to her cheeks as the cool breeze made her shudder.
"Happy married life to me" she chuckled as she threw the can of beer away. She looked up at the sky as tears rolled down her cheeks. She could never face her parents after what had just happened, they would be so disappointed in her.
Her father had warned her, times without a number. Sure, they never got along and he seemed to hate her but she sure knew that he was right about this one.
"Time to go home" she rejoiced as she jumped off the car, she looked at long wedding dress with a pout. She grabbed the hem of the dress before slowly ripping it out, she didn't stop until it was just above her knees, she smiled in satisfaction as she twirled her car keys in her hand before making her way into the car.
As the engine roared to life, she immediately stepped on the gas panel, reversing before doing a small swirl then she drove back into the roads. She was always known for her reckless driving but today it was out of control.
She drove past large trailer's, she even slammed into a car on her way to her condo, but as she came face to face with an Audi. She wanted to stop the car but she couldn't, her eyes widened as her car collided with it.
Amelia's car rolled off the Audi as it tumbled down the road and stopped right in front of a brick wall. Amelia's heart raced against her chest as she let out a yelp. "Help, help me" she whispered as blood clouded her vision before she slowly lost consciousness.
"Who the fuck was driving that car?" A man said lazily as he dusted his suit. He ran his fingers through his hair as he asked the driver.
"I don't know sir, but shouldn't we help her?" The driver asked but his boss just gazed at him coldly making him shift uncomfortably in his seat.
"Are you meant to be asking me or doing your fucking job?" The man almost yelled at his driver, who unbuckled his seat belt as he ran to the car that had collided with theirs.
Diego stretched lazily as he plopped himself on his large white couch. Grabbing the television's remote, he turned it on but a loud boom echoed through the room as he stared at it.
"Young Mistress Amelia Santiago, was involved in an accident not too long ago, but it has been said by the authorities that her body is nowhere to be found. Where could she be? Is she alive or dead, find out!" The reporter on the screen said with a haunting smile. Diego shuddered as he paused the news, zooming in on the car that had tumbled over a black Audi.
"Why does that car look almost familiar?" Diego couldn't help but ask himself as he shrugged, a smile plastered on his face as he stared at the television.
"Bye bye Amelia" he said with a chuckle. He had never truly loved Amelia, sure his family were probably the wealthiest in the city but they had forced him to put up with her temper and marry a woman who could practically kill him.
Amelia's eyes slowly fluttered open as the sunlight pierced into the room. She felt a sharp pain in her head as she looked around.
"Fuck, where am I?" She couldn't help but ask herself as she tried to stand up but a large hand wrapped around her waist, pressing her back into the bed. As she turned slowly, she saw a large hunk of a man laying beside her, almost half naked.
"Ahhhh" she screamed, closing her eyes as she immediately kicked him off the bed, the guy landed on the floor with a thud that would practically shake the building.
"Cazzo" a cold and calm voice filled the room as Amelia peeked through her eyes. She saw a tall man staring at her. He was about 6 '3 in height, he was bare from his head down to his waist, he had dark raven eyes and thin pink lips that were in a frown as he stared at her.
He looked like some model but almost too good to be true. "W-who are you?" She managed to ask as the man standing in front of her stretched his tired limbs before going to sit on a small couch in the room.
"You don't need to know who I am amelia. You owe me big time for creating such a huge dent in my car" The man said as Amelia frowned in confusion.
"Dent? Who created a dent in your car mister?" Amelia said she couldn't recall doing such a thing to a car and besides she could pay for it.
"Shut up!" The cold voice immediately snapped at her, making her flinch as she stared at the man who's personality had suddenly switched. "You're buying me a new Audi Amelia and I don't care if you have the money or not I need it" the man said but from his looks and the aura that surrounded him, one could easily tell that he had the money to get an Audi probably one that was even better than that but he didn't want to.
"Stop yelling Mr handsome and tell me what the fuck I did wrong" Amelia yelled back at the man with a stern expression.
