Chapter 3: Accepting Destiny

My father after going into a moment of silence with his down picks his head back up. “When talking to Doctor Lee this morning I gave him the information on the funeral home in Guadalajara, Mexico, I also asked him to not go ahead with an autopsy since we already know what killed him but that I want the bullet removed and given to me. I a reminder of another reason to kill Draven Chavez. I will be leaving here as soon as the funeral home contacts me, they will oversee transporting his body back.” “I’m going with you dad.” He just nods in acknowledgement of knowing that I will not stay here under these circumstances, plus we have more resources in helping us get Analina back.

“I understand, I’ll inform Liliana and Mariann and have them fly out tonight, they already know what has happened to Analina. Jonathan and I have been updating them on any leads that we have currently.” “Besides having Andros coming with me I want Diego and Enzo to leave with us, we will choose with men that we will bring with us once a time and date has been set for the rescue mission.” “I will bring Stavros, Rodrick and Bruno with us. Bruno, I want you to make a list of warriors and guards that you would want to join your team, make sure that these men can be trusted not only strong and strategic.” “Yes boss.” After John made his demands of his men Jonathan does the same.

“Rocco, you maverick and Bryson will be coming with me, make sure to brainstorm with Bryson on who will be coming with you on the mission and the same applies to the both of you when choosing your team members.” “Yes boss.” As the meeting ended, we all had grim looks on our faces before heading out of the office and to our rooms to start packing for our trip. Mariann went with one of the other guards to go pick up Liliana last night they were informed of Ricco’s death during their travels. I for one can’t believe that this is happening to us. I know that I will get my angel back. (I have been sitting long enough, I miss my angel, I will kill Draven for taking her from me.) I decided to leave these four walls and stop sulking, so I went downstairs to get myself a cup of tea, that always helps to calm my nerves.

I reached the kitchen and Jonathan’s head server greets me. “Hi there master Andros, how can I help you this afternoon? Lunch should be ready in a few minutes.” “I would like a cup of chamomile and mint tea please.” “Yes sir, just wait in thee parlor and I will bring it right to you.” “Thank you, Agnes.”  “You're welcome, and sorry for your lost. He was a good man and don’t worry you will find the little miss; I have faith in all of you.” She says and walks away. I make my over to the parlor. As I wanted for my tea Stavros came in and sat down across from me. “Are you waiting on tea also?” “Yes.” “I’m sorry for your lost. I am more worried about the twins.” “What do you mean?” “Well for one, what if we don’t get to her in time before they ae born and two, if they are Ricco’s then they will be brought up without a father. I know that they will have a father figure, but it won’t be the same. You know?” “Yeah, I know.”

We were in a comfortable silence when there was a knock on the door. The door opens and Agnes walks in holding two cups of tea, she sat them down in front of us and left. “Do you think she’s all right?” I asked Stavros. “Yes, this is Analina we are talking about she is the strongest woman that I know. She’s even mentally, emotionally and physically stronger than her own mother and that is saying a lot if you have ever seen Liliana in action.” “Yeah, I thought so.” “Just know that we will find her and that she has probably tried at least once to escape his clutches.” “Yeah, you are right, I am just worried about her and the unborn babies.” “I understand, so am I.” We were quite again for some time until my father came into the parlor carrying his own cup of tea.

Noticing the mood in the room he just nodded to us and took a seat next to me on the sofa. As the three of us seat there sipping on our tea, the ringing of a phone cuts through the silence in the room. “Oh, it’s me, I’ll be right back.” My father says as he heads for the door. “I wonder what that is all about.” Stavros says breaking the silence between us. “I don’t know but he’ll let us know once he comes back. It’s either the hospital or the funeral home.” I said to him.

Draven’s P.O.V.

(I really don’t know how to make her accept her destiny with me, doesn’t she realize how much I love her and how far I will go just to keep her here with me. I mean I have killed my own brother for her. What else does she want.) “Analina darling what are you thinking about?” I asked her while I wrapped my arms around her small curvy waist. “Just thinking about what you have done. You almost killed Ricco who could be my unborn children’s father. What I really don’t get is that you don’t seem to care that you could have killed your own brother.” “What do you mean almost? I did kill my own brother, because he could be the father to your twins and I didn’t want him to get any closer to you than he already has. Come now it’s time for lunch.”

Back at Jonathan’s

As I finish up my tea my father walks back into the room. After sitting back down next to me he takes a deep breath and starts to speak. “That was the director of the funeral home. She wanted to know how I wanted to receive the bullet that was taken out of his chest. I told her that I will pick it up myself.” “Do you want me to go with you.?” “No, just in case Draven has his men watching you, remember he has but a hit on you.” “Yeah, I know.” Stavros looks at his watch. “It’s almost time for lunch we should probably get to the dining room wouldn’t want to keep everyone waiting.” At his words, the three of us gets up and head. for the dining room.

After lunch was over, I waited until the table was cleared up and then going over to the dining room doorway I closed and locked them before walking over to my wife. Standing above her, she looks up at me. I pulled her out of her chair and laid her down onto the table. “Are you ready to accept your destiny now?”
