Lucy was raised in foster care as her father Johnny Capone had to hide her due to a blood debt.  If he didn't change her name and surname the Marchetti Mafia family would find her and kill her. To repay a blood debt for killing the Marchetti's  youngest son.  Although Johnny Lucy's father didn't physically pull the trigger it was still one of his men that did which made it his problem and his debt.

Over the past 20 years the Marchetti Mafia family was actively searching for her with no luck of finding her. The other Mafia families knows about this blood debt but felt so many years has past it's no use to go after the child now.  What's the use she's a girl it's not like a girl will take over the Capone name she will  marry and her surname will change.

But the new generation Mafia heirs wanted to find her.  They felt a Capone will bring the Mafia families more wealth and take them to new heights. Just the name spoke fear into people and spoke of leadership.  However for them to accomplish this they need to find her, protect her and most of all remind her who she really am.  After 20 years they weren't so sure they will be able to remind her who she is.  After a long search they believe they have found her.
