Chapter 4 - Easy there love.
Vanessa has to make a split-second decision.
She remains holding onto him just as she notices 3 bodyguards pile into the room, each of them seemingly armed as they stand at the entrance.
Before she can even think, she reaches for the gun in his trousers, and pulls it out, shoving him out of the way before moving quickly before the bodyguards even realise that's happening. She aims swiftly at the guns in their hands, firing at each of them and managing to hit each target, successfully knocking the guns out of the guards without causing serious injury.
As their weapons fall to the floor, the men are momentarily dazed, giving Vanessa the opportunity to strike. She doesn't give any of them a chance. Her eyes lock on the man closest to her, and without thinking twice, she lunges forward and performs a spinning heel kick to the man, making his head snap to the side and knocking him out instantly.
She hears the next man roar next to her, and she ducks swiftly before sweeping and kicking him to the ground. She then performs a handstand and brings her feet to the last man, her legs strangling him momentarily before she propels him across the room with her powerful legs. In seconds, she is back to her feet, but not without punching the man lying on the floor, knocking him unconscious as well.
She turns to the man she has sent flying across the room, and sees that he's still determined to fight her. And that's when she moves quickly, her foot flying between his legs, hitting him straight in the balls and causing him to cry out in agony, and that's when she spins and delivers a powerful elbow to his face, rendering him unconscious as well as his body drops to the ground. Once she is down, she huffs lightly, and adjusts the grip in her head, turning attention back to the target and pointing the gun instantly at him.
She finds him staring at her with a surprised smile on his face, his hands leisurely placed in his pockets.
"Brazilian martial arts, Judo... MMA styles...?" He lets out as he slowly approaches.
"I think you just turned me on even more..." He says slowly, and she huffs lightly before snapping the gun at him with a warning, ignoring all his advances now that the time has come to finally finish the job.
"Take your hands out of your pockets slowly..." She orders, keeping the gun pointed right at his chest, wanting to make sure that he doesn't have any more weapons.
"Would you like me to take off my pants as well, or you have that part covered?" he smirks at her, just as he does as he asks and slowly takes his hands out of his pockets, showing her that he is unarmed.
"Be quiet..." She orders, and that's when she moves forward with the gun still pointed at him; her hands begin to search him thoroughly for any concealed weapons. She steps in front of him, her hands brushing over his pocket, and that's when she feels something hard, making her grab hold of it sharply. But the moment he does, her target groans deeply, his jaw clenching tightly.
"Easy there, love... I know you're eager, but no need to be so hasty with him... he's all yours..." He breathes out, and she finds herself blushing once she realises that what she had just touched was a different kind of weapon entirely.
She quickly gathers herself and steps away from him, being convinced that he is armed, staring back at him as she prepares herself to execute him.
"All done already? I wish you didn't stop..." He lets out, his voice hoarse and making her ache between her legs. She hates that she's so turned on by him.
"Shut up. I'll make this quick." She snaps at him, adjusting her grip on the gun as she exhales deeply, and as he watches her, he chuckles lightly.
“You’re not going to shoot me,” he murmurs, his voice is low, coaxing, like he’s trying to calm a wild animal.
“Don't be so certain.” She answers, but in reality, she's not sure if she's really going to be able to go through with it.
That's when he steps closer, slowly and carefully. “If you were going to kill me, you would’ve done it by now... like on the rooftop...” He smiles, and Vanessa's heart drops sharply. Her pulse pounds, the tension in the room sharp enough to slice. How does he know that...
He stops just a foot away, his hands still raised, the corners of his mouth curling into a faint smirk. “Besides,” he adds, his voice dropping to a murmur, "You don’t want me dead. You and I haven't had our fun yet..." He says, and that's when he pauses for a second before swerving out of her line of aim, now sprinting straight towards her.
Vanessa fires a shot through the silencer but misses, her aim shifting back to her target, but he is too fast, and before she knows it, he is grabbing hold of her. The two of them begin to wrestle for the stolen gun. She moves, striking fast and sharp like a viper, but he ducks, his reflexes impossibly quick. She follows with a knee aimed for his ribs, but he twists, grabbing her leg before it connects.
Vanessa yanks her leg free, stepping back to put space between them, but she moves sharply, grabbing hold of both her arms and pushing her backwards until the two of them fall to the ground.
Vanessa lies on her back, and the man grabs hold of both her hands, pinning them just above her legs, just as he remains pinned between her legs. Her grey eyes narrow at him as she struggles to get out of his hold, but he is incredibly strong, much, much stronger than she is.
And for the first time in a long time, she feels it... uncertainty. Uncertainty about being successful on this mission...
And quite possibly losing to her target...
