Chapter 4 Trapped
"No!" Astrid realized her voice was too loud and panicked a bit, worried Oliver would notice something off.
She quickly pretended to clear her throat. When she spoke again, her voice was much softer.
"I'm just touching up my makeup. Why are you making such a fuss? Go ahead and get busy, I'll come find you in a bit."
Just as she finished answering, Astrid felt the pressure below go deeper and harder.
Silas was deliberately trying to make her slip up!
This time, she bit her lip hard to keep from making a sound.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Oliver frowned, looking at the closed door, his mind full of doubts.
He clearly heard something wrong with her voice just now; was it his imagination?
"What could happen while touching up makeup?" Astrid felt embarrassed and angry at what the hand below was doing, and her tone grew heavier.
Hearing the displeasure in her voice, Oliver knew she was about to lose patience.
This was the Montgomery family's venue, with top-notch security in the country; nothing should go wrong.
Maybe he had heard wrong.
Thinking this, Oliver said reassuringly, "Then I'll head out first. If you need anything, just have a server come find me. I'll be waiting in the same place."
Hearing Oliver still playing the perfect boyfriend, Astrid just wanted to get rid of him quickly so she could escape from Silas.
"Okay."
Soon, she heard footsteps walking away outside.
Astrid looked at Silas, who was seriously applying medicine to her with a straight face, and felt frustrated with nowhere to direct her anger.
She swatted away the hand still under her skirt and smoothly slid down from the counter.
"Move!" Astrid said irritably.
If it weren't for this shameless behavior from Silas, she wouldn't have had all this trouble, her heart jumping into her throat.
Silas was a head taller than Astrid. The moment she stood up, he also stood, his legs naturally pressing against her.
Looking at Astrid's fan-like lashes and her opening and closing red lips, something inside him began to stir restlessly.
His gaze fell on Astrid's figure as he screwed the cap back on the ointment and tucked it into Astrid's handbag.
"I've put it in for you. Don't lose it again."
Silas's voice was mellow, and when he spoke gently, it sounded very soothing, making people relax and feel intoxicated.
At least he hadn't lost his mind and had sex with her here.
Astrid's lips curved slightly as she looked up to meet his eyes.
"Thank you, Mr. Montgomery."
Whether intentionally or not, she emphasized the words "Mr. Montgomery" particularly heavily.
Silas was already restless inside, and watching her red lips part slightly, the feeling of wanting her reached its peak.
He raised his hand, his fingertip brushing across the corner of her lips, his eyes full of interest.
"Do you really like calling me Mr. Montgomery that much?"
Astrid was confused by his question. She widened her eyes slightly and looked at him, puzzled. "What else would I call you?"
Her tone was full of provocation, but her eyes were sometimes full of temptation, sometimes full of innocence, making people want to look more and more.
Silas chuckled lightly and glanced at her handbag. "Where's your phone?"
Alarm bells immediately went off in Astrid's mind. She clutched her bag tightly and asked warily, "What are you going to do?"
Silas didn't know what she was thinking and answered matter-of-factly, "Of course, to get your contact information."
Astrid's ears turned slightly hot, but her grip on the bag didn't loosen at all.
He was Oliver's uncle. Before they broke up, he was still her elder.
Especially thinking about what Silas had just done to her, her heart was all over the place. There shouldn't be any private contact between them!
Silas saw Astrid's hesitation clearly.
He grabbed her wrist and leaned close to her ear, asking softly, "It's just contact information. Does it need this much thought?"
Astrid felt the heat near her ear, her body trembled, and her voice became somewhat shaky, "That's not necessary. Once we leave this room, you and I have nothing to contact each other about."
Looking at her evasive eyes, Silas couldn't tell if she really had forgotten him or was deliberately playing hard to get.
"Is that so?" Silas looked at her meaningfully and leaned in closer.
Astrid's body bent back little by little. Seeing his lips about to touch hers, she panicked.
"Isn't that right? Let me go quickly, someone's going to come in soon."
After saying this, Astrid realized she had threatened him in vain.
Given Silas's temperament, when Oliver was outside, he remained as steady as a mountain; he probably hoped even more that someone would burst in.
"Aren't you afraid?" Astrid's voice was trembling.
Silas saw her face gradually turning from red to pale and knew she was truly scared.
"Then why don't you take out your phone?"
"You let me go first. I can't get it like this." Astrid's voice was almost pleading.
Sure enough, Silas stepped back half a step, though the distance between them was still very close.
Astrid's fingers quickly pulled out her phone and opened the screen. "Should you search for me, or should I search for you?" As she spoke, she had already opened the QR code.
Seeing this, Silas opened his phone, and they added each other as contacts.
With this done, Astrid's heart relaxed slightly, when suddenly she heard something from above.
"Next time you need to apply medicine, remember to find me."
Astrid couldn't hold back anymore and loudly cursed, "Pervert!"
Silas wasn't angry but laughed instead, his voice as mellow and seductive as always, "That's not what you called me that night."
"Besides, I heard the doctor at the hospital say I was your boyfriend. If I don't know my own strength and apply medicine for you, that's what a boyfriend should do." He continued.
Hearing this, Astrid couldn't say another word.
To experience sex for the first time, she had actively seduced Silas!
That day at the hospital, the person standing outside the half-closed office door was him?
What a coincidence! How could she run into him everywhere!
Astrid suddenly felt embarrassed to the extreme!
According to rumors, Silas was ruthless, disowned his relatives, and controlled the family's economic lifeline; the Silas before her had none of those rumored qualities! He was completely just a shameless pervert!
Astrid instinctively felt unprecedented embarrassment and hurriedly pushed the door open to escape.
Behind her, Silas watched her fleeing figure, the corners of his mouth rising imperceptibly.
He hadn't expected that Oliver, who had been unreliable since childhood, actually had good taste.
However, given Oliver's abilities, he probably couldn't handle Astrid.
Thinking this, Silas's eyes gradually deepened.
Astrid opened the door, and the moment she saw the figure outside, before she had time to straighten her skirt, her heart, which hadn't yet settled, immediately jumped again.
