Zarlia, hurry up and come over to wash these dishes." Manager Leo yelled loudly which made Zarlia sigh in unhappiness.

All this cleaning should have been done by Letisha, but Letisha suddenly complained of being sick and with that, Manager Leo gave her a day off which made all the work in the restaurant fall on Zarlia's neck.

Zarlia disliked Letisha with passion, but she had no choice but to go with the restaurant work for now without complaining because the manager liked Letisha more and Zarlia had no other work; Zarlia only hoped and prayed her application was accepted by the Stetson Empire this time.

That was her thought when a ping sounded on her phone. Zarlia quickly picked up her phone and tapped the message.

Thanks for your application to Stets Empire. We are impressed by your background and would like to invite you to interview.

Boom! Zarlia staggers in disbelief.

"Yes!" Zarlia dropped the napkin she was using to clean the table and a happy smile blossomed on her face.

Finally, she could leave this damn work.

"I said. You should hurry up, you have work to do in the kitchen!" Manager Leo yelled in anger which made her arch her brows lazily.

"Excuse me, Mr. I'm done with your damn work. Perverted man." Zarlia yelled loudly and dashed away from the restaurant to tell the news to her parents hoping they'd be proud of her this time.

Three years ago, Zarlia had begun to hunt for jobs in big companies, but she had failed woefully, so she had no choice but to stick with working in Manager Leo's Restaurant.

Manager Leo was a perverted man, and she had caught him making out with Letisha in the past. He tried to make advances on Zarlia, but she refused, which made him torture her by making her work harder.

Zarlia's house from the restaurant was fifteen minutes away, but she moved from her parent's house due to the humiliation that followed joblessness after graduating.

Soon Zarlia arrived at the house, she was about to knock on the door when she heard some words which made her freeze at the door.

'That Zarlia bitch. My biggest mistake was taking her in that day. I should have just thrown her away. She's so useless, just like her parents who died in a car accident. After raising her for so many years, she wasn't beneficial at all. Instead, she's a useless person who works in a stupid restaurant.' Her mother, no, fake mother said.

'Mummy, let's just kick her out then.' the useless brother of the family said.

'We can't kick her out, she's not staying here anymore anyway. But since she's very naive, let's continue to collect the money in her hand. At least we can use that to enjoy life. Who knows if she will find a better job later…

Zarlia staggered back in disbelief. It turns out that she wasn't from this family. She finally understands why her younger brother was always chosen above her and pampered even when he was in no way beneficial; it turns out that it was because he was the real son while she wasn't their family.

A tear slipped past Zarlia's eyes, and she wondered if to go in or not, but after a few seconds of contemplation, Zarlia was unable to face these wicked people, so she decided to go to Romero's place for comfort.

Romero's embrace is warm, he'd comfort her and tell her everything is fine. Soon Zarlia arrived at Romero's place.

She had a key in her hand, and soon she opened the door, but some moans began to drift into her ears immediately after she entered the house which shocked her.

Before she could take steps forward to wonder what was amiss, a familiar voice that she loathed so much began to speak.

"Romero, tell me who does it better between the both of us?" Letisha cried out.

"What do you mean?" Romero roared in anger. "That bitch never let me touch her. Not even once since the last two years that we have been dating."

Romero's words made Letisha grin happily, "Let her continue taking care of the restaurant while I continue to take care of her boyfriend."

"You're so naughty. You know I'm only with her because of the money, but that bitch always gives most of her money to that useless family of hers and only gives little to me…" Romero was saying, but before he could finish his words, a picture frame was suddenly thrown toward his head which made him and Letisha shocked.

They raised their heads to see a raging Zarlia, "Fuck you. I put food on the table every day. I pay for the rent yet you nonentity neverappreciated that. Before I come back I want you and that useless bitch out of my house." She yelled and immediately walked out of the house in annoyance.

All the anger she felt inside her dissolved immediately she walked out of the apartment and tears began to trickle down her eyes, "Why? Why is this happening to me? I tried my best to be good to everyone around me, why didn't they appreciate me for once, why?"

Soon, Zarlia wiped her eyes. Maybe it's because she has always been a good girl all the time; it's time to stop the good girl act.

"If Romero can cheat, I can cheat also."

Tonight, she'd go to the club and find a man who can help her forget all this frustration. And by tomorrow she'll move on.

When Zarlia entered the apartment, Letisha flashed her a cunning smile, but she pretended not to see and went to change her clothes.

Zarlia was satisfied by what she saw, and she took out her savings while promising to have fun tonight.

Romero was shocked by her beauty when she came out because throughout their time together, she has always dressed as a nerd but with Letisha's comfort, he snapped out of it.

Ignoring the cheating duo, Zarlia walked out of the house, and soon she was in the club.

Zarlia was having the fun of her life when she felt a strong force.
