Chapter 1 Prologue
Prologue
I shouldn’t be this close to him.
Grey’s hand pins me against the wall, his body radiating heat, his storm-grey eyes dragging fire through every inch of me. The hallway is empty, but his growl fills it, low and dangerous.
“You don’t belong here, Iria.” His voice is quiet, lethal, the kind that makes the hairs on my neck rise. “This place will eat you alive.”
His grip tightens around my wrist, not hard enough to break me, but enough to remind me he could. My pulse stutters. I should be afraid. Instead, my chest twists with something far more dangerous. Want.
“You don’t scare me,” I whisper, though my voice betrays me, shaking.
For a second just a second his eyes softened. The corner of his mouth tilts, almost like he’s fighting a smile. Then it’s gone, replaced by coldness sharper than glass.
“Liar,” he murmurs.
Before I can breathe, another presence fills the space. A warm hand slides between us, gently pulling Grey back.
Brian.
His golden eyes lock onto mine, softer, steadier, yet no less intense. “You’re shaking,” he says quietly, brushing his thumb over my wrist where Grey’s fingers left marks. “Don’t let him touch you like that.”
The air between them crackles: two brothers, two wolves, two storms colliding.
“She doesn’t belong to you,” Grey snaps, his voice a growl.
Brian’s smile is calm, but his hand doesn’t leave mine. “No,” he says softly. His gaze burns into me. “She belongs to me.”
And that’s when I feel it. The impossible. My wolf is stirring for the first time in my life, clawing to the surface because it isn’t just Brian’s touch that sets me on fire. It’s Grey’s stare.

They say the Moon Goddess never makes mistakes.
They’ve never met me.
The night I stepped foot into Lunar Crest University, my life ended and began all at once. I thought I was just another scholarship student lucky enough to study among the heirs of power, Alphas, Lycans and soon to be lunas groomed to rule the supernatural world. But I was wrong.
The wolves weren’t the only predators here.
From the moment I entered, whispers followed me. Eyes lingered too long. It wasn’t admiration, it was suspicion. Like everyone already knew a secret about me that I hadn’t been told.
And then I saw him.
Grey Bringth. Cold. Ruthless. A name spoken in warning, not admiration. His eyes grey as storms locked on me like he already hated me. Like he already knew I didn’t belong here. But it wasn’t hate that made my heart stumble, it was recognition. The terrifying pull of something I’d only heard about in legends.
And then there was Brian. His twin, his opposite. Charming where Grey was brutal, warm where Grey was ice. But his smile hid daggers, and the way he looked at me was just as dangerous.
I didn’t understand then why both brothers’ scents tangled with mine, why their wolves bristled when they saw me, why the entire school seemed to hold its breath around us. Two heirs. Two brothers. Two possible mates.
A bond like that isn’t a blessing. It’s a curse.
Because only one can claim me.
And the other… will destroy me.
The Blood Moon is rising. Secrets are already unraveling. And I don’t know if I’ll survive long enough to choose.
