Chapter 7 Scandal

Delilah's POV

"Was it that little mute? Do you like her? Otherwise, why would you let her touch your body!"

"Don't talk nonsense!" Eli stopped me. "Genesis is my brother's adopted daughter. I'm her uncle. How could I possibly like her? Didn't I already prove it to you at the pool?"

Seeing Eli's furrowed brow, I could only suppress my temper. Eli was already very unhappy. I couldn't let him actually break our engagement!

"That little mute is so shameless. She must have come to seduce you!"

"She only came to apologize. She was scared, so she came to please me." Eli was getting impatient.

I snorted coldly. "You're too naive. That mute is obviously a slut who seduces people everywhere. Don't let her seduce you. In this world, only I truly care about you!"

I threw myself into his arms and looked up, wanting to kiss him.

But Eli pushed me away. "I'm not in the mood. Go back."

I didn't give up. I grabbed Eli's hand and placed it on my chest, continuing to act cute.

But Eli turned over and lay on the mat with his back to me, sleeping.

I angrily got up and deliberately stomped loudly. But Eli didn't even turn his head.

I returned to the guest room furiously and angrily called my cousin Sofia.

"Stop sleeping! I have something I need you to help me with!"

I told her about Eli and Genesis.

I didn't believe Eli's explanation at all. If he really didn't care about that bitch, how could he have given her his jacket? And the way he looked at that bitch was very wrong!

This was my woman's intuition!

"That bitch obviously likes to seduce people everywhere. You need to help me teach her a lesson!" I said viciously.

Sofia was also angry and immediately promised, "Sister, don't worry. I'll definitely help you teach her a lesson! What do you want to do?"

I sneered. "Since she likes men so much, spread rumors at school that she sleeps around and got pregnant by some random guy, then had a miscarriage! Let all those men at school have their way with her. Let her enjoy herself."

School wasn't the Martinez family villa. No one would help her there.

I looked coldly toward Genesis's room. I wanted her dead!

Genesis's POV

I didn't see Eli again during the last few days of vacation. I heard he was at a company opening in another city, and Jordan sent him there to handle things.

This made me relax considerably. Not only because Delilah wouldn't come to the villa looking for Eli when he wasn't home, but more because I was afraid Eli would bring up what happened under the oak tree that day.

Just because Eli let me go that night didn't mean he would let me go in the future.

The last semester of high school finally started. Many students and parents were holding signs at the school gate taking First Day of School photos.

I looked away from them. I had experienced such family activities before, before my mom and dad died.

So I wasn't an unwanted illegitimate daughter. I was a child forever loved by my mom and dad.

I had to work hard to stay alive, to be worthy of the chance at life they fought for me.

For lunch, I still went to the cafeteria. After all, no one in the Martinez family would prepare a lunch box for me.

When I first came to the Martinez family, I once mistakenly thought the lunch box the servants prepared for Maria was for me, so I took it to school.

That night when I got home, Savannah slapped me twice.

"Lowly bastard, just like your mother, wanting to steal things that belong to others!" Savannah yelled at me.

I was screaming inside, "I didn't steal Maria's lunch box. My mother wasn't a mistress."

But I couldn't make a sound. I couldn't explain any of it.

Savannah angrily called all the servants in the house to watch me get beaten, telling them that I, this illegitimate daughter, had stolen Maria's lunch box.

Being looked at with such contemptuous eyes by so many people, I trembled with shame, just like now.

"The stinking bitch still wants to eat! Don't you get full just from swallowing men's cum?"

Sofia grabbed my hair and pulled me to the ground, kicking me hard.

I curled up in pain on the ground, only able to make small whimpering sounds.

I didn't know why Sofia was hitting me. She was Delilah's cousin. Like Delilah, she looked down on me. We usually didn't even talk at school.

I struggled to get up, but Sofia climbed on top of me. She grabbed my hair and exposed my face.

"Everyone look! Genesis seduces her own uncle! She even got pregnant by some random guy and had a miscarriage while swimming, making the whole pool bloody. So disgusting!"

My scalp hurt from being pulled. My hair was almost being torn out. I struggled and grabbed Sofia's arm, pulling hard, trying to get her hands off me.

Sofia cried out in pain and impatiently swung her arm, slapping me twice!

"Dead bitch, you dare scratch me! You lowly thing, just like your mistress mother, always staring at other people's husbands!"

I'm not! I didn't!

My mother wasn't a mistress!

I didn't seduce Eli!

I wanted to tell everyone loudly, but my throat could only make ugly "ah" sounds!

I couldn't speak!

I was a damn mute!

I angrily grabbed Sofia's hair and pulled hard, directly tearing out a large chunk of her hair.

Sofia screamed, and I felt much better.

But Sofia's friends came over and held me down. When she saw the hair I had pulled out, she screamed frantically.

"Damn bitch! I'm going to kill you!"

She climbed off me and then dragged me up. I didn't know what she wanted to do. I struggled as she dragged me to the dining table. She pressed my head firmly into the food plate.

My face was buried in the food. I couldn't breathe at all.

Then she grabbed my hair and lifted my face up. Seeing my face covered with food, she laughed loudly.

"This is what you get for seducing men! You should stay with this food waste!" She looked at the plate again and showed an evil smile.

I trembled with fear. What did she want to do?

Sofia grabbed a handful of food that was completely unrecognizable and stuffed it into my mouth.

"Don't you want to eat? Now I'll feed you!"

I tightly closed my mouth. Sofia got impatient and called her friends over to help.

"Pry her mouth open!"

Her two friends came over and forced my mouth open. They pulled so hard that my mouth felt like it was going to be torn apart. The pain made tears flow from my eyes.

Sofia stuffed that disgusting food into my mouth.

Tears streamed down my face. I wanted to fight them, but I couldn't beat three people by myself. I could only be held down while they forced things into my mouth!
