Sandy is off for the rest of the day. Not in a dramatic way — just… muted. Quieter than usual. Her smile doesn’t quite reach her eyes, and she seems distracted, like her thoughts are somewhere far away. When I ask if she’s okay, she gives me this blank, unreadable look before brushing it off...
