Chapter 6 Let’s Get Married

‘’I need everything on him. Now!’‘ Anna uttered, turning off the TV. The press conference was replaying over and over and over again till it sinked into the head of every of its listeners.

‘’Good!’’ Sarah mused happily, running to grab her laptop from the bedroom.

When she got back, she had already typed ‘Alex DiCaprio’ on the search button and everything on him had popped up.

‘’Alex DiCaprio. Billionaire and self made CEO. He comes from a long line of Self made entrepreneurs and he does not bat an eye before slamming a lawsuit in your face! He was married to Stella Stewart—One of the leading models at the biggest modeling agency in New York City. But they are currently going through a divorce hearing at the courthouse. Anyways, he also has a daught—‘’

The doorbell rang, startling both Anna and Sarah.

‘’Are you expecting anyone?’’ Anna asked and Sarah shrugged, heading for the door.

She looked through the peephole and her eyes almost popped out of its socket as she saw muscular men dressed in all black standing in front of her doorstep.

Holy mother of—

The door bell rang again, interrupting her train of thoughts.

Sarah opened the door, staring at them with hearts popping out of her eyes. ‘’I think you’re at the wrong address.’’ She said, hoping men like this would actually be coming to her address for once!

‘’No we are not.’’ A voice resonated from the back and the bouncers all gave way as a petite man dressed in office attire and glasses resting at the bridge of his nose walked up to Sarah.

‘What the hell?’ Sarah thought, eyeing him from head to toe. The way she had imagined a man with better build as the leader of this troop brought disappointment to her.

‘’I’m here to see Anna joe.’’ Christian said, trying to evade Sarah’s piercing gaze.

Without putting up a fight, Sarah gave way for him to go in and the stunned Anna just stood there in bewilderment, looking at how fast it took her friend to sell her to a group of hot men.

‘’What do you want?’’ Anna asked, staring at Christian with a raised brow.

‘’I work for Alex DiCaprio and we were asked to escort you to his office’’ Christian started and Sarah gasped in awe.

Anna frowned. ‘’Escort me? You must be kidding.’’ She laughed, sitting back on the couch as she ignored them.

Before her back could hit the headrest, the men cladded in black immediately sauntered in.

Anna stared in shock as they came close to her, their stance threatening.

‘’The boss said we are allowed to exert any force if needed. You are either coming with us willingly or coming with us forcefully.’’ Christian said, giving the men instructions with his eyes.

Anna couldn’t believe this! The guts of that man to try and kidnap her.

‘’Let your boss know that I’ll be sueing him for defamation and kidnapping if any of you dare lay a hands on me.’’ She said defiantly.

‘’And just so you kno—‘’

Her next words were interrupted as she was hoisted unto one of the men’s shoulders.

‘’Put me down!’’ Anna shouted, kicking and thrashing. ‘’I’ll make sure to sue all of you.’’ She shouted.

Christian chuckled.

He had done a thorough background check on her and she had no single money to her name.

How was she supposed to sue them? She couldn’t even sue a fly.

With a nod from him, the burly man placed Anna in the backseat of the car and entered after her.

Christian also hopped into the front seat and the other escorts got into their cars.

With the start of the engine, they all exited Sarah’s residence, leaving the poor girl staring on stupendously.

Meanwhile, Anna hadn’t stopped cursing since she got into the car. She was sitting in the middle of two burly men and it felt like she was in some kind of cage.

She was not okay!

And she made sure to let them know by screaming and cursing at them. Unfortunately, none of them had uttered a word since they got into the car.

After a while, Anna quietened down when she realized that her screaming had yielded nothing. She watched as they drove into an estate and her eyes caught sight of the mansion.

She gasped.

The mansion was four times the size of her father’s mansion.

She wondered how many people resided in it.

Their car came to a screeching stop at the side of a fountain and the men quickly got out, dragging her with them.

‘’Where are you taking me?’’ Anna asked, fear already sipping in as different possibilities roamed her head.

What if it was someone else that had watched the news and used the guise of Alex instead? Alex was clearly a very powerful man. He would have lots of enemies.

‘’To the boss.’’ Christian uttered, not sparing her a glance.

Anna didn’t utter a word after that. She just followed after them, murmuring some incoherent words about how nice the interior of the house was.

Apart from the maids and butler that paraded the house, Anna didn’t see any other person.

After finally reaching the third floor, the bouncers let go of her and left, leaving only her and Christian standing in from of one of the doors.

Christian knocked twice before waiting.

‘’Come in’’ A low yet sexy voice bloomed from inside the room and Anna shivered.

Christian pushed open the door while Anna following close behind him as they headed inside the room. From the interior, Anna could already deduce that it was a personal study.

Immediately she came face to face with Alex, all hell broke loose.

‘’Why would you order your men to kidnap me?! Not just that but you also defamed me in front of the media. Do you have any idea what you’ve done?!’’ Anna screamed at him, her chest heaving as she stared incredulously at him.

Anger surged through her as she saw no reaction on his well shaped face. ‘Danmmit!’ She cursed inwardly.

Seeing as he had no intentions of answering her questions, Anna turned her back to him, deciding to leave.

But his next words stopped her in her tracks

‘’Let’s get married.’’
