Sloane's POV

The projection fades. Dad doesn't explode.

He just stares at Tristan and Eva, then says: "Go to your rooms."

Eva freezes. "Dad, let me explain—"

"I said go."

There's no warmth in his voice. None.

After Tristan and Eva leave, it's just my parents and me in the dining room. Mom look...
