CHAPTER 02

I just nodded." You can talk about it here safely, Sasha,"

"I don't know what there is to talk about," I told him.

"Sasha, did your father tell you what is going to happen,"

"He said I had to go into the woods for three days!"

"Sasha, NO! Promise you will come here. I know people who can help you, you must promise me." Fritz was frantic that I would go alone in the woods.

"Sasha, you can talk about it with me."

"No, I was told to tell no one. It is a curse."

"Is that what your mother tells you?" Fritz was getting upset.

"I need to go close the store for Dad."

"Just one last question has your wolf talked to you, and what is her name?" I laughed “that us two questions.”

I got up, grabbed my bag, and said “yes and Bell.”

I ran as fast as I could so Dad could go home. I would close the shop at 10.

"Sasha! Fritz called at the door. Be careful going home!"

"I will!" I yelled back.

I walked into the store. dad was getting ready to go.

“make sure you lock up. Take twenty dollars out of the cash at the end of the night. Don't tell your mother." He kissed my forehead and left to hurry home.

We only had two customers the whole night. I locked everything up in the safe. I left the twenty dollars. The store was slow right now.

I locked the door and was about to put the keys in my pocket when two big guys came up to me.

"What do we have here?" One of them said. I tried to pass them he other guy grabbed my arm.

"Where you are going, sweet thing?" He said.

I tried to pull my arm away, but the other one grabbed me to. He whistled, and a van pulled up. I kicked one of them as hard as I could. But the other brut punched me in the face. My nose started bleeding. The one I kicked grabbed me by my hair and shoved me in the van. I felt something pierced my neck. I lost conciseness just as I felt a boot hit my face.

NED'S POV

I was getting on my coat when two of my guards yelled

"Hey, Ned, look what we found for you." They were dragging a girl by her arm blood was going all over the floor. They threw her down at my feet.

"What the hell did you do to her face, how many times do I fucking have to tell you don't hit them in the face," I screamed.

"This one was a fighter, Ned."

"Take her down to the doctor, stop hitting them in the face!!" I yelled.

Stupid idiots were going to ruin my business. I would have to make these two disappear. I had a meeting in fifteen minutes with prospective buyers. I went and checked myself in the mirror one last time. I was a pretty good-looking guy. I was the tallest in my family standing 5 foot 11 inches I had worked out all the time to stay toned and fit. The ladies liked the muscles. I flipped back my back hair fixed my suit jacket and went out onto the street.

I walked down to a bar and went to it. The lighting was poor, and the cigarette smoke was thick. Whores were trying to pick up the drunks. I ordered a beer and took it to a table in the back where I could see both the back and front doors. I told my thugs to stay away from the whore. My clients wanted young and hopefully untouched.

ALPHA COLT'S POV

Robert my Beta and younger brother, were just getting back from the diner. We talked about the waitress Sasha all the way home. Something was very different about her. I could not put my finger on it. Fritz had told me she had a bad home life. We always made sure we left her a big tip.

As I parked the SUV Rachel my beautiful Luna came running out of the pack house with my oldest daughter Nancy, who was crying.

"She is gone, Dad, I was only in the store five minutes when I came out she was gone."

I made them go inside, "Calm down what are you talking about?"

"Nancy sit down!" Rachel told her sternly.

"Can someone calmly tell me what is going on," I asked

"Colt, I let the girls go shopping in town, they were only going to three stores. Nancy went into the one store Nella wanted to wait outside.

Nancy said she was only in the store five minutes when she came out Nella was gone."

"Where were their guards?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, I let them go without any," Rachel told me in tears.

"Did you send guards out to look for her?" I yelled.

"No one can find her."

"Great, go I have to start making calls, I told you both No going to town without guards."

I did not care that I yelled at them I told them more than once girls had been going missing from surrounding towns and packs. And now my youngest only 17 has gone missing. The same age as most of the girls between 17 and 21 years of age. I called the Alpha council and reported her missing and from where. Now I had to wait.

There was no point going and searching again she was taken like all the other girls. I sat and watched the news.

"Last night Sasha Chatham went missing when she locked up her father's store for the night," I yelled to Robert "Look, the girl from the diner has gone missing."

"Shit, Colt we have to find out who is taking these girls."

"Is it the same group or different?"

"Why would rogues take human females?"

I picked up the phone and called Alpha Spencer, "We sure we have a sex trafficking ring send out warnings to all the packs.”

"Set up an emergency meeting. See if you can get you inside guy from the sheriff's office to talk to us. Yes, tomorrow. "

Goddess, he was a moron sometimes. I told Robert.

"I need to make it clear no pack member is allowed to go into any human town until we shut this down"

I will get it set up Alpha. The phone rang Robert answered it.

"Alpha, Fritz is on the phone." I went over and picked up the line.

"Hi, Fritz, if you're calling about Sasha, we just saw it on the news," I told him.

"Alpha Colt it is about Sasha, but not just that she disappeared. Remember we had a conversation about a pup I know that is coming of age and I need your help for when they shift?"
