Chapter 9 His first kiss

The girl shook in fear and muttered, “I'm sorry, sir.”

He stepped closer to her and said in a low tone, “I hate repeating myself girl. Stop wasting my time and speak up,” Alex blasted with gritted teeth, raising his voice. Seduced him and what?”

“Seduce and fuck him.” She responded with a shaky voice. “I'm sorry sir, I was just paid for that. I didn't know what they gave him. I was not even there when they gave him whatever they…”

“Enough!” Alex barked, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. “So you accepted some dough and came here to rape an unconscious man? What the heck is wrong with you? If he were your brother, would it be okay for someone to use him like that? You have no conscience. No heart.”

“I… I’m sorry,” the girl stammered, already trembling.

“Save it. I don’t care how sorry you think you are. Now talk, who sent you?”

“I don’t know his name,” she said quickly. “He wore a face cap, low. I couldn’t see his face well. Please, just let me go. I’ll tell him your friend woke up and didn’t want me. I’ll even give the money back.”

Alex stepped forward, eyes sharp. “No. You’ll tell him you did the job. That it was successful. Every damn bit of it.”

She blinked, confused. “But I didn't, so why?”

Before Alex could answer, Lucas stirred behind him, slowly pushing himself upright with a groan, unbuttoning his shirt as if trying to get a grip on his surroundings. “Oh dear, why is it hot everywhere? Cutie…”

The girl started toward the door, panic rising, but then a knock came on the door.

They froze.

“Are you expecting room service?” Alex asked coldly.

The girl shook her head. “No”

Alex nudged toward the door, muscles tensed. “Then go find out who the heck is here.”

She shook her head negatively, panic tightening her face. “Maybe it’s him, the guy who hired me. He said he would come check if the job was going okay.”

Alex’s expression hardened. In a flash, he snatched her handbag and tossed it onto the couch. Then, to her horror, he reached for the buttons of her blouse, unbuttoning them.

She gasped, stepping back in fear. “H-Hey! What are you doing?”

“Relax,” Alex growled. “This isn’t about you. It’s make-believe, and I don’t give a damn about your fucking body. We need to sell a scene, so cooperate.”

The knock came again, louder this time. Without breaking eye contact, Alex hissed, “You’re going to open that door and tell him everything’s going according to plan. Smile, flirt, lie, do anything to convince him. But if you mess this up… I swear, you’ll regret it.”

The girl swallowed hard, then turned shakily toward the door.

To Alex’s surprise, she suddenly yelled, “Go away! We didn’t order room service!”

Another knock. She quickly undid the rest of her buttons, with her bra exposed. She took a deep breath, steadying her nerves as she moved toward the door.

Alex slipped silently into the restroom, leaving the door slightly ajar, eyes sharp and ears tuned up.

The door creaked open and she flashed a sultry smile. “Hey, you’re back so early. No worries, he is so hot. We’re really busy right now,” she added with a flirtatious wink, silently praying he would just leave.

Gabe leaned in, trying to peek past her. “Wow, you mean he is already cooperating?”

She nodded quickly. “Of course, why wouldn’t he?” she said smoothly, though her heart thundered in her chest.

Right on cue, Lucas’s voice rang out from inside the room, loud and perfectly timed. “Hey, cutie! I want some kisses! It’s getting hot around here. Are you playing hide and seek with me?”

The girl giggled, playing along. “No, babe. But if that’s what you want, I’m coming to find you.”

Gabe chuckled. “Damn, finally working. Alright then, carry on. I’ll call if we need your services again.” With that, he turned and walked away.

She shut the door quickly and let out a long, shaky breath of relief. “Damn it, Mirabel, what the hell have you gotten yourself into?” she muttered, buttoning her blouse with trembling fingers.

Alex stepped out from the restroom, eyes sharp.

“Please, sir,” she begged. “Let me go. He won’t come back.”

“What’s his name?” Alex asked, referring to Lucas.

“I—I don’t know, sir,” she replied, voice still shaky.

“What! You don’t even know his name, yet you were ready to fuck him?” Alex snapped, anger flashing in his eyes. “Shame on you. Get the heck out, and stop accepting this kind of degrading job. You’ve got a face made for the camera, not for cheap setups like this. Hold it, word of advice.”

She froze by the door, guilt written all over her face.

“In fact,” he added, voice sharp but sincere. “Go for an audition. Try acting, you will kill it on screen. Stop this silly gig, it's beneath you.”

The girl nodded quickly, eyes downcast. “Yes, sir… Thank you,” she murmured, before pulling the door open.

“And remember,” Darlington called after her, “your job was carried out successfully, understood?”

“Yes, sir,” she confirmed, then rushed out, disappearing down the hall.

Alex locked the door and turned, only to see Lucas swaying unsteadily toward him.

“Whoa, careful,” he said, hurrying over. “You’re still unstable. You might fall.”

“Oh really?” Lucas slurred, throwing his arms lazily around Alex’s shoulders. “But if I fall, you’ll catch me, won’t you?” he giggled, his eyes half-lidded.

Alex chuckled despite himself. “Have we met before? You look so familiar. What’s your name?”

Lucas grinned dreamily. “Mmm, that’s a secret, cutie. You gotta earn it.” He leaned in closer, sniffing. “Mmm, Your scent… It’s making my heart race.”

Then, puckering his lips, he whispered, “Come on… give me my first kiss, cutie. Just one…”

Those words hit Alex again—too hard. His resolve wavered, especially with Lucas’ arms still lazily looped around his neck. Then those drowsy, half-lidded eyes of his gazing up at him felt like a spell. His breath caught as he leaned in, lips barely brushing Lucas’s.

Lucas closed his eyes, smiling softly. “Mmm… so soft,” he whispered, giggling. “Do it again, please.”

That was all the permission Alex needed. He leaned in and captured his lips again, this time with a fire that caught even him by surprise. The kiss deepened—slow, consuming, and completely intoxicating. His heart thundered like it had been waiting for this very moment. He paused, searching the guy’s face.

Lucas blinked open his eyes, still hazy but smiling shyly. “Oh damn… that tasted good. I can’t see you clearly… but I want more,” he mumbled, flushed and breathless. “I hate parties… but this, cutie this is fun.” He said shyly.

Alex stared, stunned. Even like this, he is shy? He smiled as he gently cupped Lucas’s cheek. “Beautiful… What's your name?”

Lucas giggled again, unwrapping his arms and lifting his hands to Alex’s face. His fingers traced his stubble, then his lips. “So soft,” he whispered. “I bet they’re cute too…”

Then he leaned in, eyes fluttering shut. “Come on… more kisses.”

And he drew him into another heated kiss. This time it's longer, deeper, until they were both gasping for air.
