I love that he kinda fell in love with her at first sight and her status in the society didn't change anything instead he strived to be a better person. A man known to be ruthless showed emotions. above all I love Krai he is an absolute cutie when I pictured him. he has an amazing bond with Cassandra. he is protective of her and I just loved to read it. I also read the second book... just loved it.

    GOOD STORY AnyStories has many great books, but one of the first completed books I read is THE WAR GOD'S FAVORITE. There be dragons, and maidens and heroes. Treachery, betrayal, and evil galore. But more than these there is love. A dysfunctional war God and his enslaved maiden rise to become more than expected, through a love that sustains a kingdom. Great story that is well written and keeps the reader enthralled from beginning to end. And it's followed by an equally engaging sequel that does the same and is also complete: THE WHITE KING'S FAVORITE.

    Good story! Actually GREAT story, GREAT BOOK! I couldn't put this book down, it kept me on edge and asking for more (fortunately it has a sequel πŸ˜‰) Jenny is a great writer, you won't regret reading any of her books, she pays attention to details and her characters have depth, they feel real. This book has suspense, mystery, sex, and romance, all in a good well balanced dose. It's the story of one slave changing a kingdom. Cassandra comes from a very different culture, she is about to die on the wim of her spoiled mistress, eaten by dragons but she ends up in the prince's Chambers yet this is not a safer place than the dragon pit. The Palace is full of snakes, evil plots and deception. She needs to use her wits to navigate this perilous environment if she wants to keep her head attached to her body.

    This is one of the very books i got attached to right from the beginning. it is a very striking love story from the start. i didn't want to read any other books when i started reading The War God's Favorite aiming to finish the whole book before i start reading the next one. Cassandra was a brave woman with a tremendous knowledge in healing with herbal medicine. How she and the War God met was romantic in such a terrific way. How Dragon Krai chose her for Kairen was hearthrobbing. was glad she reunited with her sister missandra and they both ended up marrying the half brothers princes. it was even more intersting and very emotional towards the end when cassandra died and i thought she was gone forever but the gods returned her back to Kairen and they eventually a big family. it becomes more interesting when this story book came to end only to continue again with the White King's favorite of the story of their daughter princess Cecilia. i am loving both of these books so much. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

    GOOD STORY I was hooked from the beginning. The author takes you on a journey with well developed characters and amazing scenes.
