LOVED how it started... disappointed how it's slowly gone down. Useless chapters back-to-back-to-back-TO-BACK and the main characters had nice character arcs then those were all undone by doing the same dumb stuff over and over again.

Book 1 & 2 were entertaining. Book 3 same genre but completely different story. If grammatical, tense & pronoun errors and the occasional incorrect point of view don’t bother you, don’t read book 3.

JUNE At first I was a bit overwhelmed with the number of chapters as I like quick reads, but realised that there is 2 books. After reading a few chapters, I was pleasantly surprised with the author’s writing style. It’s definitely refreshing from the usual norm in the mafia genre and has me captivated to read more. Added to my library.

“JUNE” I don’t like nickname squirrel, it’s just weird. It’s not funny nor is cute. I am not really a fan of where the employee sleeps with the employer because it’s giving abuse of power. I think this book has potential because it doesn’t give me headache when I read nor does it make me angry.
