JUNE At first I was a bit overwhelmed with the number of chapters as I like quick reads, but realised that there is 2 books. After reading a few chapters, I was pleasantly surprised with the author’s writing style. It’s definitely refreshing from the usual norm in the mafia genre and has me captivated to read more. LOVED how it started... disappointed how it's slowly gone down. Useless chapters back-to-back-to-back-TO-BACK and the main characters had nice character arcs then those were all undone by doing the same dumb stuff over and over again.
