    I am stunned. I have been waiting to find out more about Jasmine's past/the fire because I suspected somehow some way Lucien had something to do with it. I didn't expect what did happen or any of the rest of it AT ALL though! Also you are an epic writer because I was convinced I would never feel sorry for Lucien no matter what you threw at us and I was completely wrong. Now I find myself hoping somehow this works out and he doesn't die and they all make ammends. I'm freaking out that the book is ending tomorrow because I don't know how we can have proper closure with everything going on. After everything though, I trust that if anyone can pull it off, you can!

    This is the round I was most afraid of. I don't want her to fight Jared especially since she said before that he was like a brother. Plus either way she loses (she cares for both Landon and Loren). I am personally more attached to Landon even though I like Loren's character. I really hope something epic happens and neither dies, but I really really don't want Landon to die.

    I really didn't see that one coming, Loren being alive, her death just sounded so real. I'm curious to know who's body they actually buried and if it will become an important little detail, as you seem to tie things together at various points in the book.

    of course jasmine loved Lucien maybe she still does, but it's not the kind of love a lover would give (i.e. Jasmine and Damon). I firmly believe her love is platonic. she loved him as a friend and possibly as a savior. he snatched her out of a life that would have killed her eventually and helped her grow as a person. he quite literally saved her life before Damon saved her from the life Lucien created for him. I dont blame jasmine either for Lucent's "insanity". lucien came from a home that was, to be frank, quite broken because of his father. If he is slipping into a type of insanity, i would say it was passed to him from daddy dearest lol. a long explanation but theres my POV of it!

    I do think that Jasmine loves Lucien, but not in a romantic way, the way she loves Damon. there are many forms of love and I think she does love him, he was the 1st person to show her love and compassion post her family's death. And that's what's probably kept her from killing him. I just think that Lucien misinterpreted Jasmines love to be the romantic kind, which it wasn't. Your story is really interesting! I'm really loving it 😊

    I don't agree with Macy. I think with everything Jasmine had experienced, she felt deeply indebted to Lucien and probably eventually felt like she SHOULD have feelings for him, but ultimately I don't think she did, at least not like that. He basically became her only family, so there must have been some deeply rooted bond there despite how he treated her, she owed everything to him. I don't think she was ever in love with him though. I think she didn't kill him because she knew that she was only there because of him. Good job on the "slip up", I can't believe I never noticed that! 👏 I have been wondering this whole time if maybe Macy was Lucien's mate and she was doing this both because she loved him, but also because she was angry that he loved Jasmine more than her. Guess I was wrong, didn't see that she was just crazy and in love with Damon in her own twisted way. My heart is heavy knowing what's probably waiting for Jasmine in the next chapter, it's going to be painful for sure!

    I am only up to chapter 10 so this might not even make sense but is the POV always Jasmine unless stated, because I feel when I’m reading it’s kinda back and forth between Jasmine and Damon’s POV and I am getting a tad confused causing me to re-read the chapter.

    I loved the idea of adding some switch in the dom sub dynamic, also makes sense because they both have the alpha gene so both have dom tendencies. jasmine's is probably stronger because she will probably come from a stronger lineage of alpha wolves (just a theory of mine 😊). can't wait so see what the next letter had written in it!

    oh my I could use more Dom Damon. as for an answer to the question, I think there was a lot of power in Jasmine being a Sub. if you think about it, damon was torturing her by going slow, but he didnt think about how much torture it was for him as well because she refused to give in. IF by chance he did realize it, when Jasmine tries to dominate him, he could do the same thing to her. the power of being a Sub is stubbornness if the sub is unwilling to give in to what the Dom is asking such as Damon telling Jasmine to say "I love you" and she wouldn't. not only did he torture her, but he unintentionally tortured himself as well due to her refusal until she couldn't do handle it anymore. that's the power she had as a sub. long answer but there it is lol

    am I close in assuming that Lucien did, in fact, love Jasmine, he just didnt show his love properly? kind of like how Damon did when we first met him after finding out Jasmine was his mate? I have a love/hate feeling towards Lucien simply because I can understand from his hard past why he would turn out the way he did: like their dad, but I hate what he's done to Jasmine even if it was out of some sick twist of love.
