    It's crazy how people want her to so easily forgive and forget. They want years of abuse to be forgiven in a couple of weeks when no one has done anything to prove how sorry they say they are. All they have are meaningless words, no genuine actions.

    I really want to keep reading this book. So far, it has been well written with amazing characters of great depth. But... Unless Neron and everyone else was controlled by some spell, I cannot stomach her staying and ending up with Neron. No matter the reason, the amount of sorry or the way they have changed now, it doesn't change the years of abuse. No survivor should go back to their abuser, for any reason. So I'm going to give it a few more chapters, hopefully it's made clear soon that she will not end up with an abuser. As someone who has seen people through the effects of going back to a 'changed' abuser, this just won't be the book from me if that happens.

    (spoilers, Ch.55) I might say, Neron seems the only one in the pack genuinely sorry. everyone wants to bury the hatchet ignoring halima's pain, closed in their selfish little suffering. he's the only one understanding why she can't forgive, and accepting it.

    I like this book, you're really good. being through an abusive relationship and escaping/ coming out stronger in the end. I applaud your writing for the victims prospective in Halima. I'm not through the book, but seeing her become a strong caring women is encouraging. Don't let the haters detere you, they obviously have no clue.

    I too was of poor opinion of that book because of the abusive introduction in the details page. But it seemed well written and I gave it a shot. Now I regret it because I HAVE WORK TO DO AND I CAN'T QUIT READING IT !!!

    I am really happy...After everything, kiki should not just forgive or accept them. they atleast need a sample of what she went through.Specially her parents, who were selfish and mean.
