    #bingeread I love this book! It's really tough on your own demons, and I deffinelty re-think a lot of things from my past.. I just can't decide for myself if I want Dakota to go to hell, or if I want the two of them to actually end up together.. But after his latest action I'm feeling option number A more 🙈 we'll have to wait and see what this talented author comes up with 🙈

    This isn’t my usual cup of tea but I still read the first couple chapters to give it a chance just in case the story surprises me. Unfortunately, I have major issues with the main female character Emara and that is preventing me from becoming interested in the story. For being 21 years old, I find Amara to be very bratty, immature, and overall just a little too grating. Dakota-AS

    Dakota-AS I’ve read the first few chapters and unfortunately could not connect with the story or the author’s style of writing. The FL is 21 but is portrayed as very immature. It is also quite a common storyline that has been overused by many authors. With the plot lacking originality and the FL lack of character, this ultimately made me lose interest to continue.

    Dakota-AS I am thankful the writer warned me on the rape scenes in the book, wait no, “non consensual sex scenes” as the author put it because the later sounds so much better and romanticising non consensual sex is totally okay. I have not finished the other nor will I finish it. I am still on the fence with this author’s writing style. The characters have personality which is something I like in a book but I’m not sure if I like Emara even though I’m trying to.

    Dakota-AS The intro made me curious to know how and why she sent him to jail and although I don’t like such revenge plots and harsh sex scenes, but I think their relationship is going to soften up after that and they fall in love. So I think it’s worth a read!

    This female lead has the same name as the female lead from yesterday’s book and they appear to both be by the same author. Are they connected/is it the same character? If so, which story comes first? If not, that’s awfully confusing and should probably be mentioned somewhere in the intro of each story that the two books are not related (if that’s the case).     Dakota-AS As I am reading I noticed that this relates to The Wicked Alpha and has the same female lead. I have not finished The Wicked Alpha so I will have to wait to read this until then. The introduction grabs your attention and makes you want to read to find out all the unanswered questions. I have enjoyed what I have read so far and will read more later.

But I really don't like Mr. Black so much. I this he doesn't respect women in general. The lady wronged you and she has apologized. Why can't you just forgive her? But rather making her walk around naked and now that she has accepted her fate, you re depressed about it.

Howevere I am intrigued as to see what his plan is. is it redemption or will he continue to treat her so badly
