OMG.... that is crazy... only a wolf witch can do both. love that Mara was able to come to terms with it all and figure it out herself. sad many witches died from the curse but she was the only one that couldn’t break the curse. (Ch 25) Also since Nora and Mara's discussion at Sylvianna's tree last chapter I'm thinking even more that Sylvianna knew Mara was coming, just like Nora said. I wonder if Sylvianna/her tree/barrier recognized Mara and let her in Or maybe it wasn't looking for Mara specifically, but it "chose" her. I think the fact that she can't leave points to that too. Sylvianna wanted to make sure she stayed. Maybe Mara's entrance triggered the barrier to start weakening as there was a new witch to eventually take over protecting the city.
