Hallucinations? Delusions?? Either she has multiple personalities or something has possessed her - seems like Mara might be the name of the Fire Witch persona. Clearly her family has no interest in her well being, though...maybe Amy is trying to take care of legal matters, but I wouldn't be surprised if she was totally complicit in the family's neglect of Mara/Clarissa and just doing these things out of a sense of duty rather than love. As for the werewolves trying to get to Mara - that's the part I'm looking forward to most! Liam might be out for blood, can't wait!

I'm hoping Anystories divides comments by chapters soon - this one is for Chapter 1, not the intro: First of all, I love Kelsi and that she's Korean 😂😂 REPRESENT But also, the thing that stuck out most conspicuously for me was that the scars are healing. Not because of the medical impossibility of it, but because it feels like a symbolic representation of her situation. She has no memory of the fire and nothing of her former life, everything is gone except the scars which are the last visible connection she has to the "Life Before." But as they too fade, it feels like her past is becoming even more distant and invisible to the mind's eye as well, like time is running out and all the last traces are disappearing. I LOVED this, I'M WAITING FOR THE RELEASE ON THE FOURTH. 😤
