    (Ch. 14) I feel like poor sweet Liam has probably spent the last couple years hating himself and blaming himself for Sylviana's death. Thinking that if he had been better he could have saved Syl. Thinking he'll never be happy again and that it's a fitting punishment. And then here comes Mara. Like others have said too, I'll bet he's still grieving and still not over Syl and now all the sudden he's faced with a fated mate bond. He probably feels guilty and angry. He wants to ignore her but he can't. He's angry but he's also concerned and attracted. He wants to ignore her but he can't stay away. Poor Liam has so many feelings going on right now! Here's to hoping that in the long run, Mara can heal his wounded heart.

    (Ch. 14) Damn it Nephera!! She just had to permanently scar them all so everyone would have a constant reminder of her. (Clearly Liam is still hot as hell though!!) Either that or Liam refused to let Nora heal him. Probably as a punishment to himself if that's the case.

    I think the voices she hears are part of her past life/ancestors talking to her. Maybe even the original "Mara." I'm glad she's learning to overcome that voice. Even if the voice is coming from a dark witch past that doesn't mean she can't be a light witch now.

    I was going to suggest maybe Mara can feel Selena's aura because if the human side of her especially since it seems golden to her. But then she was impacted by Nate's aura too. Sylvianna said witches could sense werewolf auras but they weren't affected by them. It will be interesting to what else happens related to that.
