It’s okay for him to have questions about what Tessa’s previous experiences mean to him. It’s part of being transparent and hopefully, if he wants more, him choosing her for all that she is.

I'm intrigued, where could that child have seen a dragon. She couldn't be old enough to remember times of the war. This means that she must have seen a dragon that hasn't been acounted for. Is it possible that one of the sons of the previous (evil) princes or their dragon at the very least is causing havoc somewhere? Can't wait to find out.
