if cessi’s scales are back to normal there’s no way Jisel could have her under her control because of the soul tie between dragon and master.. but doesn’t mean jisel doesnt have a dragon.. remember earlier in the book when the girls went to the village and those villagers swore up and down they drugged those bandits and tied them up? mmhm.. then they were “burned”. jisel most definitely has a dragon but it’s not cessi’s.. hopefully the water God deemed it time for Cece’s return.. and quite honestly not only is it more than time so they can see her master two dragons of basically different elements but cessi deserves her companion after all she’s been through especially in the eastern kingdom. Krai is magnificent as always but they both need each other and very soon

Hmmm curiouser and curiouser, how did this poor girl see a dragon do such a horrible act in a kingdom where there are no dragons? Did Yassim bring Cessi here because he knew about her and Ashen or because he knew she could unite this kingdom as she has already done by giving them a common goal of helping one another? So, Sab and Tessa huh, there's no need in trying to run from him or playing games. Tessa better get her man!!! Cessi is going to make an amazing queen but we already know that!!!

I'm intrigued, where could that child have seen a dragon. She couldn't be old enough to remember times of the war. This means that she must have seen a dragon that hasn't been acounted for. Is it possible that one of the sons of the previous (evil) princes or their dragon at the very least is causing havoc somewhere? Can't wait to find out.

oh boy! I really hope it's Cece coming back but because of the mysterious watcher a few chapters back I have a feeling it's poison to which I want to ask, do these people have a death wish? She's been robbed and attacked intentionally multiple times. Do they not know her father is the War God, a man who almost single-handedly destroyed their country 20 years ago? And now he has two Junior War Gods and a crazy/awesome Empress to help? If anything happens to her their entire country and people are going to be reduced to rubble with no survivors? I mean it doesn't matter who is responsible they're just gonna go all scorched earth? Or are they so unfamiliar with family bonds that they think her family wouldn't go to war over her? It boggles my mind.

in theory if the bond between her and her dragon makes each other stronger, then the strength and development she’s finding could be passed onto Cece. A splinter could have caused a tiny scale for a millisecond it took her to heal.

How can these people get sick so fast? I have never heard of any disease that shows signs of symptoms that fast, it takes days. I also don't see how an entire tent can be hand sewn so fast. How much time has past? It seems it has only been 2 hrs at best. Im not trying be rude, these things are just really distracting from the story because they are not possible in real life.

I love your story so much. first comment here, but I read the War God and anxiously await each chapter of the White King. I've loved all your shorts too. The demon and the fairy story is still my favorite. Krai helping Ashen take down the wall is magnificent, though I'm worried what will happen to Cece with that wound.
