    Oh my heart! That brought tears to my eyes! Once Ashen finds out the story behind why Cessi stutters and wears the large choker and whatever happened with Cece, he is going to feel like such an ass. And from the sounds of it he's only ever been with Jisel because he loved Cessi and Jisel looks like her, which means he couldn't have any actual feelings for her, so..... #LunchTimeKrai 🤣

    I love it when Cessilia shows strength and stands tall. She is made of Gods and Dragons - she should never have to grovel for crumbs of Ashen’s love. She is her father’s daughter, after all. Hopefully she remembers who she is and doesn’t let her love of him overcome her sense of self-worth.

    ok i do not understand towards the end of chapter 22 ashen said looking at cessilia's angry eyes took him back 7 years, that would mean she was 11 when she met him the first time!!!! that is way too young... how old is ashen? if he was 11 or a few years difference then ok but more than that just makes me uncomfortable....

    Oh chapter 13 and I think the White king is somehow connected to Cessi's dragon, or lack of 🤔 Maybe the dragon was white and somehow saved the king..gave a piece of life/soul to him..     cessi is such a complex character full and of surprises and quietly confident like her mother. I can definitely relate to her. I think that what make Jenny’s characters so well written: you can see yourself or people you know in them. Jenny’s characters and books would also be easily turned into a tv mini series or film because there is so much to work with.
