Did I read that Neron at one time did not want to hurt Kiya, that he had asked his father not to hurt her. I believe Neron was abused by his father and it was smacked into him that he should either beat her or he is saying his mother and sister deserved to die. I get it does not excuse fully what he did but it could explain some of it. Neron was a child to and between his pain at losing his mother and sister , to his fathers insanity and abuse i can see how it turned his heart to stone

Ok, I have a new respect for Nerón!! He has shown the most growth over this whole situation. I believe that Nerón treated her badly because of Jonathan. Nerón knew that Kiya’s parents would take her home, but he called them because he knew it was best for her. I believe he delivered on his promise to Selene. It breaks my heart for all r the abuse she went through and to know not only was she brutally beaten up but raped on a regular basis as well. And for her Raina, Stephen, Ashley even Valerian to all say it's time to move on and leave the past in the past? Like wth are they sipping on. My heart goes out to Kiya so much. As a rape survivor, those horrific experiences never go away. They later festering like an open wound in your subconscious, never to fully heal. Yeah you get up everyday putting one foot in front of the other but it has a ripple effect and changes your life in every way. I don't blame her for being so hurt and mistrustful of them. Years of unspeakable mental, emotional & physical abuse can't even be healed in years let alone a few months. I'm glad to see that Neron is making an effort to change but it seems he got a long way to go and Kiya biological family I feel like their betrayal is even worse than Neron because if anyone is suppose to love and cherish you it's your parents the ones that brought you into this world. They and Raina are asking for the almost impossible way to quickly and all because now they feel "remorse". But it can't be to asusage their own guilt. She deserves all the time in the world even if it takes a decade for Kiya to forgive them they need to give her that time.

okay so awesome cuz I kinda feared that osiris would use this to get to her more but she has more strength than me if given the chance I would have mine suffer the Scaphism torture method and I would camp out on the river bank that or find a horse and have him raped to death lol sorry if that offends or upsets anyone at the age of 19 I was raped even at 34 ive managed to deal with a lot of it but some things are still more of a challenge at times

Oh Halima... 😭 Poor baby! It's supposed to be frustrating that Kiya gave in because I expect her to get out of manipulation, and because she's an Avatar. BUT it felt right that she had embraced Halima... Embraced her inner child, her neglected feeling. Accepting that she may be an Avatar of the Light, but she has darkness in her, she's entitled to feel that way. Her feelings are valid. Maybe Kiya needs this too. Osiris may not see it now but I think healing Halima is the only way for Kiya to finally let go of her painful life.

I really love this story being a survivor and having many traumas, I can truly identify with Kiya. One of the parts of healing is forgiving and letting go. forgiving oneself and others, allowing onself to move on to live and love. Kiya deserves happiness, love. I'm really confused on how Raina can punch Odessa in the face but Ashley and Steven just stand there like they don't see or hear what Johnathon is doing. In front of the ENTIRE pack, might I add. Kiya really shouldn't forgive anyone at this point. I'm not saying she should forgive Raina at this point though. Raina is just one of the few who truly is sorry for what she did, and wants to make up for it.

To think I hated Osiris just to learn this. He’s in pain for life because of his immortality. I think Kiya needs to find a way to show Osiris that Neron isn’t like them, and then Neron needs to listen to Osiris’ story. Destroy Jonathan because he will never change. Disband Zircon, Neron do what he loves, and let Neron prove himself to be his own man.

Kinda ironic how Ashley was shedding crocodile tears throughout the whole chapter but her feelings shifter suddenly to anger when she smelled Kiya's REAL mom and dad. If anything, she should be thanking them for stepping in as legit parent's where Steven and her failed. I hope they get some "humbling" from Kiya's adopted parent's 🤭

May I suggest on how she should do it in front of everyone? 1. Castrate him 2. then the fingers 3. then the hands 4. then his tongue- for the times she screamed 5. then the ears- for all those who refused to hear her cries 6. then the eyes- for those who turned blind eyes on her 7. then the feet, for having no one to run to So that everybody in the pack would feel more guilty.. and after just leave him like that in the dungeon.

Why is Rains so stressed out about Kiya missing or is guilt eating away at her still for how she and everyone else treated her? I am Ariel will get a chance to be separated from Odessa.
